New actuarial agents move Arbital AI beyond answering actuarial questions to executing complex actuarial workflows autonomously. When Arbital AI launched in October 2025, teams could ask questions about their value-based care (VBC) contract performance and get answers traced back to the data. A year of use with clients and continuous refinement by Arbital's actuaries has led to the next evolution: Arbital AI Agents. Given a multi-step task, they build a plan, choose the right analytical tools, and adjust as results come in. This release brings four advancements to the Arbital platform:
- Actuarial reasoning in minutes. Teams can hand Arbital AI a complex question and receive a traceable, synthesized response tied to the contract's financial terms and what’s driving the result, while there is still time to change the outcome. Asked where a Medicare Advantage book is losing the most money, it finds the declining market, separates unit cost from utilization, and identifies the members and providers behind the loss.
- Scale your best actuarial processes. Teams save their best analyses as Workflows, rerun them with one click, and share them across the organization, so the people who built them can move on to the next hard problem instead of rerunning the last one. A growing library of Workflows, built and validated by Arbital's actuaries, gives teams a starting point. A monthly PMPM trend analysis, for example, splits cost growth between utilization and unit cost with one click.
- Align every team on the same numbers. Workspaces are now co-editable. Teams review and act on Arbital AI’s output from one shared view instead of competing versions.
- See what's behind any number. Users can start an Arbital AI conversation from inside a Workspace and drill into any figure, such as a market's inpatient cost, to see the members, claims, and drivers behind it without leaving the page.
